Hi, my name is Jeremy. My husband was just diagnosed with terminal heart disease. When his doctor recommended palliative care I reacted in fear, thinking it sounded like a death sentence. They assured me that it's not and that people can live a long time while receiving this type of care.
I think many of us could benefit from a clearer understanding of what palliative care is and what it can offer.
